Helsinki by Kayak is the defining paddling trip, our daily three-hour guided kayak tour through the Helsinki archipelago, characterized by its clear waters, rocky islands and sandy beaches. The archipelago consists of about 200 islands and islets, from which many lie on the Eastern Helsinki coast.
This beautiful spot is where we embark on Helsinki by Kayak: the start point will be the Vuosaari Paddling Center, Natura Viva’s Helsinki main depot. The kayaks used on the trip are easy to handle and very stable – This paddling trip suits beginners and experts alike. We will provide you with all the kayaking equipment needed, also spray skirts, rain jackets for rainy weather. Just wear some sporty clothing and bring your adventurous spirit – Natura Viva will take care of the rest. We will ensure You’ll have a relaxing and a memorable paddling experience in the beautiful Helsinki archipelago. We will paddle on a slow and easy pace, everyone can tag along on this journey.
We will make Helsinki by Kayak easy for You: there’s a pick-up every day from downtown Helsinki with our mini bus, and we will bring You back to the Helsinki center once the paddling trip is over.
Location: Vuosaari Paddling Center, pick-up from Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art (bus stop).
Time: June 1 – August 31 every day, in May and September every Saturday and Sunday. Departure at 10:00, back downtown by 14:30.
