All our guides are solid kayaking professionals, certified by the Finnish Paddling Association and/or the British Canoe Union. In addition to learning advanced kayaking and outdoor skills, they have gone through rigorous safety and rescue training. They are service-minded facilitators of your experience.

Martti started his wilderness trekking career in the early 1960’s and has regularly visited his secluded destinations ever since. He specializes in kayaking expeditions, wilderness canoeing and hiking. He is also a paragliding enthusiast.

Paula is one of the owner’s of Natura Viva. She is in charge of Cafe Natura. You can always give her ideas for new recipes! She also takes care of our book keeping.

Meet Emilia at the office in the paddling center or guiding you on one of our tours. She is a certified wilderness guide and has done her masters degree in Business.
Outi is an all-round kayaker. She loves Norwegian whitewater, but also enjoys easy-going paddling trips in the Baltic Sea archipelago as well as wilderness canoeing in Lapland. She is an adventure guide and paragliding pilot.
Matteo is one of our most experienced kayaking guides. Original from Italy, but now just like a Finn. He is a wilderness guide, kayaking instructor and a fantastic pizza-chef!
Tomppa on pohjoismaisen merimelonnan ohjaajayhdityksen (NIL) ohjaaja. Merimelonnan lisäksi Tomppa toimii Olympia purjehdusvalmentajana.

Work for us!
Would you like to work in our team of outdoor professionals? Our main season is the summer. Our staff has to love being outdoors and working with people! Kayaking is our passion and needs to be your passion too! It’s hard work being an outdoor professional, but most of our staff comes back every year. But we always need a few new people too!
At the moment we can only hire guides and staff, who are fluent in finnish. If your finnish is not yet perfect, you can still contact us and we can see if there is a way to employ you.
Hotel Rantapuisto is less than a kilometer away from our paddling center. A great place to stay overnight before or after your kayak experience. The also offer various services for our corparate groups starting with their sauna right on the shore of the Baltic Sea. The hotel homepage.
