Our guides
All our guides are solid kayaking professionals, certified by the Finnish Paddling Association and/or the British Canoe Union. In addition to learning advanced kayaking and outdoor skills, they have gone through rigorous safety and rescue training. They are service-minded facilitators of your experience.
Ilkka is the Managing Director of Natura Viva. He loves whitewater kayaking and sea kayaking, as well as canoe expeditions into the wild. On solid ground he enjoys mountain biking, running and hiking.

Martti started his wilderness trekking career in the early 1960’s and has regularly visited his secluded destinations ever since. He specializes in kayaking expeditions, wilderness canoeing and hiking. He is also a paragliding enthusiast.

Outi is an all-round kayaker. She loves Norwegian whitewater, but also enjoys easy-going paddling trips in the Baltic Sea archipelago as well as wilderness canoeing in Lapland. She is an adventure guide and paragliding pilot.
